Need One Way Valve for Wards compressor

One way valve leaks air thru port on side of valve. I don't know the specific name of this type of valve but it permits one way flow from the pump into the storage tank.
This valve is located between the pump unit and the tank via a brass tube. It leaks air thru the hole in the side that you can see in the picture. I'm not sure the spring inside the valve is compressed or worn out and letting air leak out or if there's some dirt and grime that is holding the valve open.
