broken manifold on a pancake air compressor. otherwise works fine. my manifold needs to connect to the pressure switch assembly. seems like that beginning part must be exactly the same ?

Tom, thanks for including the photo. It looks to me like the pipe that threads into the tank, and to which the pressure switch is connected to, is white metal or cast metal, and I doubt you can repair it.
However, it looks to me like the mounting base for the pressure switch is threaded on to the casting.
If that is the case, unscrew the pressure switch base from the broken part, and visit your plumbing supply store. Check out their brass nipples, reducers, tee's, etc., and I'll bet you can build a replica of the broken part that will work just fine.
That might be easier than trying to source a spare part.
