My compressor won't start back up.

The compressor starts up with no air in it but when it reaches 125 psi it shut off but when I start to use air and it trys to turn back on it only hums.

John, please dump the air in the tank, start the compressor, and monitor the unloader valve to be sure it works. If it does not, that valve may require cleaning or a repair.
