My compressor will not start

I have chamged the spark plug and it still will not start. I place the chole control away from the gas tank and the throttle control half way I place the switch in the on position and when I pull the cord nothing happens. Before I put the quick connects in place the compressor would run great. Please help

Joey, I'm trying to understand your compressor issue.

You have a gasoline powered unit? What is the make, and full details about your compressor.

Have you not got access to the manual to ensure that the controls are in the right position for starting?

And, I'm sorry, but I just don't know what you mean by it running fine before the quick connnects were installed.

I, and other readers, need more details please. A photo would sure help too.
