My compressor will not pressurize past 105 psi

Reaches 105 psi and slows down to a stop will not pass 105. pump is still running so its not the switch. I just replaced the head with a new. Not sure why it won't go past 105? please help

Bill ponders...

Howdy, and thanks for both visiting my website and for writing in. It's nice to hear from folks in New Hampshire.

Tell me, did the pressure ever go past 105 PSI after you changed the head, or is that the highest it will go since the rebuild?

If it has been a constant problem since the rebuild, I'm guessing that you've got a gasket out of place, you have an intake valve problem, or you have an air leak.

Have a read of the questions and answers at the bottom of this page. Some of those address this issue.

Cheers,

Bill
