My compressor melted one side off the plug end when i pluged it up

I pluged up my aircompressor and one side off the plug melted.

Yikes!!! That's not good.

Sounds like you've got a ground fault somewhere and the circuit pulls so much amps before the breaker pops that the heat generated melts metal!

Get the compressor to an electrical repair shop or call in an electrician. Don't plug it it again until you find the fault and get it repaired.
