My air compressor shuts off at 80 psi and will not kick on again untill o psi

my compressor was just rebuilt with a new motor and compressor. My air compressor now shuts off at 80 psi and will not kick on again untill o psi.

Bill says...Hi Wayne. That sounds like your pressure switch either has bad settings or has failed.
It's the pressure switch that turns the power on to the motor when the pressure drops to the cut in pressure level (often around 80 PSI in fact) and turns the motor off when the pressure reaches the high pressure cut out (often around 125-150 PSI).
If the pressure switch was removed and replaced, maybe the wiring is wonky?
