MY AIR COMPRESSOR PUMP RUN CW AS I READ IN THE FLYWHEEL.....COULD I RUN CCW WITH GASOLINE MOTOR??

AIR BARE PUMP, I COULD READ IN THE FLYWHEEL THE CW ROTATION....COULD I USE A CCW MOTOR ROTATION???WHAT HAPPEN IF RUN CCW ????

In a reciprocating air compressor and crank rotates and this moves the piston up and down inside the cylinder, alternately drawing air in, and then pushing it into the tank.

In theory, the piston doesn't care if the crank that's moving it is turning one way or the other, as the motion resulting should be the same.

Where I can't tell you for sure is how your motor shaft is connected to the crank, and if it's suitable to run in reverse.

There is no way I can tell you for sure.
