my 10 hp speedaire compressor blows fuses

i work in a 22000 sqft building and we have one 10 hp speedaire compressor madle number 1wd74 that runs hot and blows our 30 amp time relay fuses we have changed the fuse and had a electrican look at it he says the amp is a little high what can couse the fuses to blow almost every day thanks

Hi Hal. What will always cause a fuse to blow is if the circuit is pulling too many amps.
Sounds to me like this is happening in your case.
Make sure the power to the compressor is clean (not using the same circuit that has other major electrical implements drawing power too). If it is, and assuming that it's the compressor that is creating the problem, have a load test on the capacitor(s) and motor to see if any or all of these are failing.
