What is required motor RPM for T-30 Model 2340 Ingersoll rand air compressor.

there's a section or two on why air compressors don't build pressure on this site - a god place to start there.

And if you were thinking of replacing the motor, look on the present one for the RPM and HP. If a frame is indicated, use that, too.

Depends on the sheaves and particular t-30 you have.

You need to meet the pump RPM, regardless of the motor.

It finally succumbed !

After letting the engine run for who knows how long, it finally shut itself off. It reached 150 psi like it was supposed to but, like I said, it took an awful long time to get there. Does anyone have an idea what could cause this?
