Mataco Air Command 80 Gallon Compressor won't run

I have a Mataco Air Command Compressor 80 Gallon and it kicks off soon after it's turned on. When its turned on the belts do not rotate I would guess causing it to shut off.. I only have a parts manual and a 1(800)544-5145 number which is out of service...

Reggie. Pull the plug, drain all the tank pressure down to zero PSI, and try to start the compressor.

I suspect it still won't start, yet by dumping the air you are reducing the load on the motor.

If it starts, check first that your air compressor is getting clean power, then check the UNLOADER VALVE, and then you need likely to have the capacitor and motor load tested.
