Mastercraft 5 gallon (dual tanks) no pressure to hose.

by Pierre Boulianne

This compressor (Canadian Tire Product #058-9308-0) is fairly new (less than 2 years old. The tanks pressure up and the motor shuts off but the pressure doesn't go to the hose side.

I've taken the gauges off and the regulator screw and spring to see if there was an obstruction and put everything back together with no luck.

So basically the gauge on the left shows pressure but there is no transfer to the gauge on the right to the hose.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Pierre

Much is written here about no air out of hose: http://www.about-air-compressors.com/no-air-out-of-hose.html, although, from what you have written, I would certainly suspect that your regulator has failed shut Pierre, or is dialed down to zero pressure.
