master craft leaks air

Leaks air and I can't find where it's leaking from. It's a master craft 3hp 10 gallon. I've checked every connection with soap and water.

Hey Chris,

First, did you check to see if the ball check inside the discharge coupling was seating properly? A little soapy water squirted into the end of the coupling will soon tell you. If not, then this.

I suspect that it's the tank check valve that may be leaking. Try emptying the tank completely, removing the line from the pump to the tank, remove the fitting at the tank which should contain the tank check valve.

Try rinsing the check valve, or swishing it in solvent to ensure that the seats are clean. After it's dry, return it, and test.

Is the compressor still leaking?
