low pressure build-up

My 30gal. sears compressor only builds up to about 30lbs. I've checked for leaks and there are none. I'm getting full electrical input. Whats wrong?

This seems to be the biggest complaint for troubleshooting, and is a direct result, I believe, of the poor quality of the import air compressors.

In any case, for some answers, read all of these pages on why compressors won't build pressure.
