Low pressure, air out of dipstick: fixable?

So in another post by someone with the same problems, you said it was likely badly worn piston seals. Is that something worth trying to fix or should I junk this Emglo Airmate? I asked this question somewhere else on this webiste today but I have no idea how this site works.

Sure it's fixable. What you need to find out is what the parts will cost, if they are available, and then, compare that and your skill and persistence level against the cost of a new compressor.

If doing this kind of stuff yourself isn't your thing, don't let it get you, just keep the old compressor for other spare parts and get a new one.
