Kobalt, Oil-lees Air compressor,1.5 HP

I have a Kobalt 1.5 HP...Oil-less and when it get hot it stops...and I cannot restart it until it cool off

When it stops, what happens? Does the pressure switch trip it off, does the motor overload / thermal cut out trip off, what?

What is requiring cooling off? The compressor head, the motor...?

If it's the motor, it could be an overload situation or it's a duty cycle issue if you are running it for too long at one time.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but I don't have enough info.
