kellogg ... hard time starting up again then trips the braker! SOOOO I bypassed the pressure

kellogg 325tv pump,I was thinking the pressure switch was bad,or maybe the wiring was too small.

When starting at 0 psi all is good,cuts off at psi setting then has a hard time starting up again then trips the braker!SOOOO I bypassed the pressure switch and wired straight from box to motor,still same problem!!!WHY?(I kicked off braker when psi was met.)

Nicholas, I know nothing about the compressor.

However, the symptoms you describe are common when a compressor does not unload after it reaches cut out pressure.

Please read the page on UNLOADER VALVES and see if this shines a light on the problem.

Maybe an update here as a comment when you find out?
