90's Jun-Air 6-25 Airbrush Silent Compressor.

After using 30-60 min. all of a sudden it burst air out, have to turn it off, sometimes it restarts, sometimes not.

Is there a pressure switch or valve that commonly fails?

Compressor cycle

If you are saying that once the Jun Air reaches cut out it stops running, air unloads, then air continues to unload until the cut in pressure level is reached and the compressor starts again, you have a bum tank check valve.

compressor in a cycle?
by: Anonymous

Mine runs to pressure, then unloads the air, then runs to pressure ...it does this in a continuous cycle.

From where on the compressor is air "bursting out" Sonshine?

Regarding this "sometimes it restarts, sometimes not" if you are using the compressor and it's running for 30-60 minutes, is it overheating and cutting out because of the heat? It wouldn't restart then until it cooled down.

You may want to look at the page on this site about Duty Cycle for compressors.
