It runs for about 3 seconds and trips the breaker?

Cuts on fine runs about 3 seconds and trips the electrical breaker. I give it a second, or 2 flip the breaker. It repeats the same process. Trouble shooting guide states possible motor overload? The compressor seems to run fine during those few seconds. No knocking detected. Noise is no louder than it has always been. Looking for advice on what to do. 5 hp 20 gal GH compressor.

These will help, I expect.

Assuming your power supply is good, and it should be with a 5 HP motor, the start cap would be a logical item to check.
