Is this a compressor pressure switch problem?

I have a small compressor (the type you get on ebay recommended for nail art etc) which has worked fine up for years up till now.

It's now a bit sluggish kicking back in when the pressure drops. Turning it on and off again seems to help.

So my question is, can it be repaired or should I just get a new one?

Then it's probably unloader or possibly motor problem.

Can you get pix or a model number?

If not, maybe a new one is the best solution.

It has a black tank mounted on top.

Depends.

Your symptom sounds more like an unloader problem, but you may not have one.

If you can get pix, please start a new post along with them.

Does the thing have a tank for the air, or does it just run on demand with no reserve?
