Is the full line the center of red mark?

I have a central pneumatic 2.5 hp 21 gallon air compressor. on the sight glass there is a red line in the center but there is also space on the outer part on the sight glass, does this area have to read half full all across the sight glass or just the center part of the sight plug?

Hi Phillip... I don't have your manual for your model of Central Pneumatic air compressors in front of me. I can tell you that the oil fill sight glasses I have seen with a "dot" in the middle, consider the oil sump as being full when the oil is in the middle of the "dot".
