I/R 2475 with a 12.5 HP gas motor

The compressor seems to be very slow in building up, the motor does go into high speed and it does kick into slow speed when it gets to 200psi, but just seems as though the A/p should build faster to keep up wit a 1" tire gun.

Hi Joe... got a buddy that spent a lot of time in the paper mill in Oxnard. Howdy to you and all other visitors from there.

The first thought that jumps to mind is, how is your intake filter? Good and clean?

How has the condition changed? Quickly, or over a longer period of time.

Usually this symptom points to intake filter or intake valve. Pretty hard to determine which, if either since I don't have a lot of experience with gas powered compressors.

Any other contributions for Joe?
