Model 160 GAS engine oil type
by: Andy @ Magney

I cannot find anywhere what oil type is used for the engine on my 160 GAS model pull behind compressor. I am doing a service on the engine. Any suggestions on the proper oil used?

mil-l-21048 is a 50+ year old spec.

Any oil that is otherwise OK, and made for diesel engines, will do fine.
