Ingersol rand SSR 200 hp, oil comming out of inlet filters !

The compressor starts but amp load is 1000 amps, because of this it will not allow it to pull in the run starter. the intelisis control does not sense any sump pressure and shuts down but at this point oil is pouring out of the inlet filters. Any answers or suggestions on where to look?

Sorry John. I'm not familiar with your compressor, and certainly not familiar with your "intelisis control".

It sounds like yours is very much an industrial compressed air application, and as such, you really should be talking to the ARO/IR people for professional compressor service.

I welcome comments from anyone that can shed some light on John's compressor issue.
