Information for Sears air compressor model 106-153781

Just got this compressor locally, used.
It is old but good shape.
Try to find information for this compressor on the web, no luck.

Anyone have any info for this compressor?
Thanks in advance.
Harry.

I have a sears model 106 153780 compressor an I need to know the voltage, the data plate is scared up and I can't read it, I need to know if it is 110 or 220 volts, cord is missing, I wired in a 110 cord and it runs slow till it build a little pressure then allmost stops which makes me think it might be 220v, any help is appreciated, you can contact me at bstone67@nexband.com Thanks David

regulator

I have a model 106.152781 and I need a new regulator.Does anyone have an extra or an old unit that I could buy the regulator?

You don't need a Sears regulator, you just need one with the same port size and pressure range. All general purpose regulators works the same way.

Sears compressor
by: Pat

Harry, sorry I read your post so late. I purchased that same model compressor in January 1969 and is still in operation as we speak. I replaced the wiring, have changed the oil, and the contacts in the pressure switched once and again am in the process of replacing the switch again. They don't make them like they used to and if I could find this same compressor new, I would purchase it again.

Try www.searspartsdirect.com and plug in the model number. I have one and I'm trying to find a check valve assembly. Discontinued on the sears parts list. I may have to retrofit something. Good luck!

Hi Jim...

Thanks for this.
