Speedaire air compressor 3Z361 - info on the compressor

by Cliff
(Porter Ranch, CA)

Just picked up a Speedaire model 3Z361. I can't find ant info on the compressor.

It needs a new pressure switch. Any info as to specs or where I can find parts woud be appreciated. Thanks

Cliff, I too have no info on this model from Grainger.

I expect you cannot go wrong using a pressure switch with around an 80 PSI cut in and a 120 PSI cut out. You just have to make sure that you connect up the unloader valve properly.

Cheers,

Bill

Takes a long time to build tank pressure

Is there a refurbishment kit for the filter and inlet valves?

Ken, you would need to identify the model number and serial number when you contact Grainger for availability of replacement parts.

Have a look at the TROUBLESHOOTING page, the link to "will not build pressure" for some things that you can look at yourself to try and determine why your Speedaire will not build pressure.

Cheers,

Bill
