I'm building pressure but it is taking longer to keep up when I'm working it.

I've got a Craftsman 6.5 60gal air compressor. When I'm using the compressor it seems to keep up with the tool. But it's taking longer for it to get back up to 120psi. It used to get back up to 120psi when it went down to 90psi in a very short period, I noticed that the last time I used the air tool the pressure went all the way down to 30-40psi. It took several minutes for it to recover (10min maybe a little bit longer, but it does get back up to 120psi.
Thanks

Bill answers...Hey Lennis. I really appreciate that you would take the time to visit my site, and to write in.
If the pressure in your tank falls past the normal cut in pressure of your compressor, and it sounds as though it has, then I'm betting that your pressure switch is failing.
In terms of it taking longer to get back up to operating pressure, that may be covered in a new page I've just completed. It details all of the reasons that I've been able to find for why a compressor will not build pressure past a certain point.
Here it is:
Why compressors won't build pressure. I hope this helps.

Bill
