I want to test run a compressor to see if the motor and pump are in working order.

It is a Powerex Campbell Hausfield model # CS5106VA. There is three wires out of the motor it self, no pressure switch. How do I hook it up to test run? So far, I have not found a manual or wire diagram for this modle. Is it 110V or 220V? If the pump and motor work I will need a source for parts, pressure switch and guage.
Thanks, Jim

Jim, if you had said what HP the motor was, or even better yet, look on the motor plate to see the voltage, I might have advised, or you might have found out the voltage yourself.

Once you do figure out the voltage, visit your local compressor store and get a pressure switch of the same voltage, look under the cover, and you will often find the circuit diagram.

I am not an electrician an cannot give electrical advice.

Cheers,

Bill

The motor does not have an information tag or wire diagram to deturmin the voltage or motor brand. How should I find this information?
Thanks, Jim

Jim, all I can suggest is that you open a new question, and upload photos of your compressor. Maybe someone will be able to help.
