I need a regulator that is adjustable between 40 psi and 70 psi.

(Harrodsburg, KY, USA)

I need a regulator that is adjustable between 40 psi and 70 psi. I have done my research on how much pressure it is ok to put threw my application and now just need to find a regulator that dials down to 70 max. because this is the highest safe operating pressure for my application can you point me in the right direction with some links to good quality regulators that do not cost too much.

Hi Harrodsburgh Kentucky.

You generally can't find cheap quality. The two are an oxymoron.

Since most general purpose regulators will adjust pressures from zero through to 120+ PSI, you have a choice of finding a regulator that will only allow the range you wish, or, perhaps a better route, is buy a regulator that locks. Set the pressure, lock the knob, and bingo, no one else can change the pressure setting.

You will be moving into the industrial range of air products. You'll probably have to go to Lexington to find a distributor for air cylinders and air valves, and they will have a variety of regulators that should help you.

Cheers,

Bill
