I left my compressor our in the rain, what should I do?

It was a Iwata Power Jet.
I also left it plugged in.
Its a small carry compressor

Whoops! That's not good.

Obviously move the compressor to a dry location, wipe it down thoroughly, and leave it for a few days to dry inside too.

After you are sure the motor is dry, plug it in.

What happens after that (or, for that matter, what doesn't happen) will dive us some direction as to where we go from here.
