Husky Y6010-WK, Broken Endbell/Pump kit Assembly

by Jim

G'day G'day,

I have a Husky Air Compressor Model# Y6010-wk, the main alluminium housing called the Endbell Assembly on the parts manual that came with the compressor, has broken in half, between the main/large pully wheel and through the drive pully bearing housing - hopefully this explains where the break is.

My questions are

1) where do i get a replacement,
2) what other parts do i need for the repair,
3) is it a big job or can a DYI type bloke do it himself,
4) is this a common problem and should i just turn the tank into flower pots and buy a new compressor.

Thanks, Jim

Looks like that's no longer available, if I'm reading you right. (you checked with the on-line parts places from google "Y6010-wk", right?

So, looks like you might try devilbiss.

Failing that, it's either replace the whole unit or start checking for somebody selling one that do not have that problem.

Sorry, and good luck.
