Husky reaches 15 psi with no further pressure build up.

I have a Husky 6 gallon pancake portable compressor model H1506F that will not pressure up. It reaches 15 PSI and will not pressure up higher.

I've located an air leak at the pressure switch but I don't see a crack in the pressure switch. I'm almost sure it isn't the hose leaking. But there is a lot of air coming from between the two plastic nuts that tie the electrical wires to the switch. This is a plastic piece with the uploader line attached to it. I check your trouble shooting pages for the Husky and did not find the problem I'm having. I'm thinking I need to change out the pressure switch assembly. Thank you for you help. Gerald

Thanks for taking the time

Gerald, thanks for checking the Husky pages.

The place with the answer is the troubleshooting section, the pages about compressors that run but don't build pressure.

Have a look, and add a comment with your findings if you would.
