Will only build up 30psi then the motor starts lugging down and trips thermal switch


I've got a new husky 80 gal Compressor only used it a couple times moved out of my shop set it up out side my garage at my house went to use it and now it Weill only build up 30psi then the motor starts lugging down and trips thermal switch

Also, what gauge and length of wire. Voltage reading motor off as well as motor running may help to know.

That's a sign that your motor is overheating, Slim.

Tell me about how you are getting power to this compressor in the new spot, and what the amperage of the breaker your outlet is powered by.
