Husky 80 gallon compressor

My dad has this husky 80 gallon compressor. Its less than 2 years old. the unloader valve is suppose to release pressure for about 1 second after the compressor reaches full pressure and shuts off, but the air just keeps on being released until the compressor restarts. The air is realeased from the time the compressor shuts off(at about 150 psi) until it turns back on(at about 110 psi)
He has already replaced the pressure switch and the safety relief valve. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Yes Gordon, I think I do. I don't think your problem is your unloader or your pressure switch.

You have a check valve that is either not seating properly, or has failed.
