Humidity affects compressor efficiency?

How much will higher humidity affect the actual output of my compressor? Example of a 1000 scfm system.

While the humidity, the temperature and the air density will all affect the efficiency of an air compressor, for most of us the variance is negligible, unless you are in a sensitive air-consumption situation.

Where the higher humidity will affect your system for sure is in the amount of compressor generated water your system will have to deal with.
