how to resolve water in tubing
by Joanne

I have a nail art airbrush compressor, piston type model no. AS-18B.
I have set the pressure gauge to 30psi and all works well, except there is water flowing through the air line tube to my nail gun. The manual I was provided with does not have a trouble shooting page for help.

Bill says...Hi Jo:
Under the Compressor Issues heading in the nav bar is a link to Compressor Water. It is worthwhile for you to read these pages to understand how water production is a part of compressing air.
The first step in removing water from air lines is the use of a compressed air filter. Much information on these devices is linked from the Filter button in the nav bar.
If you need to remove more water and / or water vapour from your air stream, then you need to consider a drier of some kind. Find these pages linked from the site map.
Depending on how much water is coming down your air line, and how much of a problem that is for your business, you might consider an in-line air drier which will strip the air stream clean.
As always, and as it states on many of the pages, treating compressed air is a continuum, and you only want to add the equipment, and incur the cost, up to the point where the air is dry enough for your needs.
Cheers,
Bill
