How to read the dipstick and oil type on black max

I have a black max 60 gallon upright 5 hp single stage air compressor and need to change oil in it.


It does not have a manuel with it and I need to know what type of oil to use and also it has a screw in dipstrick do i check the level with it screwed in or out.

Oil level check

I have not been able to find a manual for this model of compressor. My experience has been that to check the oil level in a sump with a dipstick, it must be inserted / screwed in all the way.

I have same problem. to check oil level, is dip stick screw in all the way? Model B500bpl60v-swc.
