How to change the belt on a cap 60p-of

At the risk of sounding a smart alek, and I'm not trying to be, how did you get the belt off?

The belts stretch slightly to allow them to expand over the sheave, and then retract to make a snug fit.

Since I don't know what specific issue you are dealing with in terms of why the belt won't go back on, I can provide no more than general advice.
