Jim, read the PRESSURE SWITCH pages for info on what they do and how to adjust, though I recommend against changing settings.

Rather than monkey with the factory settings on your compressor pressure switch, why not simply use an air regulator in the line to your application to take the downstream air pressure down to the 90 PSI you need?

Then, your air supply to the tool will be a steady 90 PSI.

If you turn the pressure down to 90 PSI at the pressure switch, then as the compressor cycles, you will get pressure pulsations in the line to your application.
