How to adjust auto pressure kick on switch?

installed new switch pressure too high . how do i lower it?

Look under the lid the the new pressure switch. Most, and I hope yours does, show a schematic of the switch, and also show which of the two adjusting nuts you turn to adjust both the cut in and cut out pressures.

It sounds from your brief question that your cut in pressure is too high. It's no problem to lower that level.

I wouldn't, however, adjust the cut out pressure higher than the original factory settings for that compressor, as it's designed to generate the pressure at that level, and trying to get it higher may be problematical.
