Hi Bob.

Since it's the pressure switch that senses the pressure in the tank, and when the pressure drops in the tank to the cut in pressure level, the pressure switch trips to send power to and start the motor, since that is not happening, it's my guess that your pressure switch is failing on the low pressure side.
