Help wiring a cord to a 220 Volt pressure switch.

i have a dewalt/ emglo 8gal dual voltage compresor. it is set up and running on 11ov. I would like to run 220 on my generator.

The compresor motor has a switch to change 11o to 220 but there is only a 110 cord wired to the on of presure switch. I dont have a manual any more. Do you know what change i need to make to the cord and wireing to run 220.

Aside from the fact that you'll need a new cord and specialty 220 VAC plug, I'm not able to comment on how you actually connnect the two.

DeWalt has an excellent website, and you may even find a manual for your compressor there. Here it is.
