(Help reassembling a) Stogermatic Postbox Pressure Switch

The air compressor was not starting. Replaced bad plug, opened pressure switch, rewired poor connection. The switch works fine if you manually lift the switch to complete the circuit. But the automatic switch on the postbox body seemingly has no way to manually lift it. There is signs on the metallic base of the on/off of glue, but on the actually switch body it is not clear how it connected.

Surely this switch, which I merely took its cover off, can be reassembled - and if so, what is missing to connect the off/automatic switch to the contactor?
