1950 quincy A4 7-147464

Its a quincy.

I would like fixing it.

Ran when I plugged it in but didn't turn off when pressure was reached, it just blew the pressure relief valve.

I would like to rebuild it if parts are available.

Quincy QR-25 A4 ?
by: Doug in s.d.ca

They've been making these QR-25 series since the 1930's, and there are some parts available, like rings and I don't know what else.

It appears the A4 is no more.

Your pressure switch is probably either rusted closed or just just broke - look inside to see the contacts, and whether they move manually.

If it's beyond repair, you can replace it with pretty much anything that fits.

What motor is that? You might want to see what the pump RPMs work out to. Some of these had the RPM range molded into the casting.

Good luck and have fun...
