I bought this compressor around twenty years ago from a gentleman who was using it in his body shop. He sold it because it was slow to pump up. I used it on occasion in my garage but have wanted to try to rebuild it for years but couldn't identify the original manufacture.

The only tag on it says KS 1150.

He told me he didn't think it was the original compressor that came with the tank.

The tag on the tank says Devilbiss Type UBM-5194, No. 278367. Any help identifying this compressor and where I might find parts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Curt

It's a United States Air Compressor pump on a DeVilbiss tank.

Talk to these guys to see if any parts are still available.

Well the tank reads DeVilbiss, so I would say the compressor is probably a Devilbiss. Devilbiss commercial line of air compressors was spun off into Devair compressors which later changed their name to DV Systems. They are in Canada. One of the compressor businesses near me sells them. They look like a well built machine.

The air cleaner is most likely a homemade set-up as that is definitely a Tecumseh (small engine) air filter housing. It might be a little small for the compressor but may work just fine anyway.
