gas compressor will not build air in the tank

I have replace the unloader valve. I just replaced the valve plate and head. Starts and runs but no air going into the tank. I pulled the line from the pump to the tank to make sure air was coming from pump. I can't think of any thing else except something in the new unloader valve.

runs. no pressure

OK. Can you give a model number?

Sure there's no leak out of the tank?

It doesn't take a lot of pressure to blow your finger off an outlet tube: maybe you could run a pipe to a PRV and see if you can blow that, proving the pressure is really there.

It was the whole valve body that holds the all components all in one unit preset.

unloader/check valve

Did you replace the unloader or the check valve?

If the former, check the latter.
