gardner denver - having a hard time figuring out the unloader mechanism

ads recip. pump. I have an older compressor that I am trying to install in my shop but am having a hard time figuring out the unloader mechanism and how I can update it to a simpler unloader. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

 pressure switch is the way to

forget the unloader, just run a pressure switch and have it cycle on and off
