Hi Steven...

About gaskets, please see this post about Central Pneumatic 94667 air compressors:

www.about-air-compressors.com/central-pneumatic-model-94667.html

About valve plates, they are always a problem to source. So far (knock wood) I haven't had to on my old beater air compressor.

I also had a visitor post the following on my air blog:

Looking for replacement parts for my Harbor Freight #94667 (discontinued), I found Valve Plate Kit HL026100AV normally used on a Campbell Hausfeld HL4000. This kit contains not only valve plate, reed valve and pins, but also a complete head gasket set.

The cylinder head for the HL4000, Part # HL022600AV, is a great replacement for the cylinder also. Cost for the plate kit, about 15 ā€“ 20 dollars. The cylinder, about 20 ā€“ 25.

There are no specs for these parts that I could find, so it is trial or error Iā€™m afraid. Hope this helps.

Sorry for any confusion, I meant CLYINDER HL4000, Part No. HL022600AV. NOT clyinder head, which I have no experience with. But, I would look at it if I needed one.

Again hope this helps.

So, I hope this helps you, and good luck with this, Steven.

94667 21 gal 3 hp will never build pressure?

by Kurt
(Draper Utah)

central pneumatic model 94667 21 gal 3 hp
will run and never build pressure.

I dont know what valves to check or where they are located on the compressor.

Hi Kurt... The valves that need replacing and the gaskets that may need replacing are inside the pump head, and that is the part sitting over the oil fill sump.

That means that you need to tear down the pump to get at them. If you do take the pump apart, you might as well have a gasket kit ready to replace all the old gaskets when you reassemble it.

Cheers,

Bill
