FAC-153-1 Motor quit while using

Contactor switch is good.

Is there a thermal switch internal?

I have not opened the shroud assembly up yet but the way it quit gave no symptoms of overheat condition but it just quit running.

Maybe a start up capacitor?

Is it possible it's just the belt broke?

Aside from that, from the look of the drawing, it may have a thermal fuse, and in my experience, when those go, the bearings are shot, and a new fuse will blow again in a few days or so.

Bite the bullet, open it up, and see what you can see...

Good luck.
