emglo gas powered compressor doesn't speed up when it pumps up

My emglo gas powered air compressor used to speed up to build up pressure. Now it just stays at idle and barely has enough power to build up. Its not the engine, it runs great and if I manually push the little valve on the throttle it speeds right up and works fine. Its like it doesn't relieve the pressure off of the valve that speeds up the engine.

Andy, you've already determined what the problem is. Your pressure sensor is not telling the throttle to change as the pressure in the tank alternatively calls for pressure, or tells the pressure switch that there is enough pressure.

So, it's the signal from the pressure switch circuit or the throttle valve circuit, or a bit of both.
